Belper Town U15s is run by Manager, Wynne Garnett and Assistant Manager, Darren Worthington.

Our aims are;

·         Develop the skills and abilities of the players

·         Give the players an environment in which they can enjoy themselves

·         Be successful

The team has just won the Derby City League title for the loss of only one game. League details can be viewed at (www.dcfl.net). We played our last home game at the Belper Town ground at Christchurch Meadow.

Training has finished for this season and will start again in August on the Thornton’s pitches in Belper. Once the new season starts, training moves to the Astroturf pitch at the Racecourse in Derby. Training is important to us, we put great emphasis on passing and movement and being comfortable on the ball. Games are played on Sunday mornings. We intend to play a number of friendlies close and pre season.

We have access to Belper Town’s youth coach and the junior club feeds into the Belper Town senior team. A new Belper Town senior reserves team is being set up and will draw on players from the older junior age groups. In addition, a new Academy for 16-18 year olds is also being established. Details on both these can be viewed on the main Belper Town site.
